Meet Our Care Providers
Daphne Wright, MD: Dr. Wright attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee from 1999-2003. She completed her Pediatric Residency training in 2006 at Tripler Army Medical Center in the beautiful state of Hawaii. Dr. Wright served on active duty from 2006-2010 at Fort Hood, to include a tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008. She then practiced for 1 year as a GS employee in the Department of Pediatrics at Fort Hood and joined our practice in 2012. Dr. Wright is a board certified Pediatrician. She is a mother of 2 who enjoys reading, video games, and spending time with her family.
Omar Homsi, MD: Dr. Homsi attended medical school at Damascus University in Syria and graduated in 1980. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota and his fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Tulane University in Louisiana. Dr. Homsi has been in practice since 1989. He does his best to take care of all his patient's needs, and to provide quality care in a friendly environment. He sees children of all ages for sick and well visits. He also has a special interest in making sure chronic conditions, such as asthma, seizure disorders, or behavioral problems are taken care of properly. He oversees the ADHD program in the clinic. In addition to being board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Homsi is also board certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He mainly practices at Killeen Pediatric Care Clinic, our sister clinic, but sees patients at this locations as needed. He is happily married with 4 children.

Ashlee Bates, FNP-C
Ashlee is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Born and raised in Texas, Ashlee knew from a young age that she wanted to be a pediatric provider. She started nursing in 2005 and graduated with her Master of Nursing degree from Texas State University in 2020.
Her experience over the last two decades has been primarily in pediatrics. Her areas of interest include patients with special medical needs, wellness care, patient and family education and holistic family centered care. She sees patients from birth to 23 years of age.
Ashlee is happily married and has one son. Her family has been living in the Austin area since 2014. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, being active in her church, cooking and playing with her three Boston Terrier Bulldogs.
