*Updates on Covid 19, 05/15/2021:
-The situation in Killeen/Copperas Cove/Harker Heights/Bell County has improved. However we have to continue to be very cautious and take serious precautions. We advise our patients and families to continue to get local advice. Professional information also can be obtained from the CDC site: cdc.gov/coronavirus)
-The clinic continues to update measures of screening, testing and protection as we go. We screen every patient and family when making an appointment and at the font desk. High risk patients will be diverted and tested for Covid 19 at the very beginning so that other patients are not exposed.
-All children four years and up and and all family members are required to put on masks.
-Testing will provided to the appropriate patients in a protective manner. We now have rapid testing for Covid 19.
-A telemedicine visit can be scheduled for our pediatric patients who are at risk for Coid 19 infection or exposure. Further action can be decided after the visit.
-As of 3/26/2020, we started telemedicine visits. We hope this will help provide better care in these hard times. These visits are helpful for patients with many conditions such as: cold symptoms, rashes, refills, asthma and ADHD follow ups, constipation, formula changes, etc., and of course Covid 19 issues.
-We also have curbside visits outside the clinic in the back to cut down on exposure.
-. As of now , we are keeping the Saturday clinic (in the Killeen location). It has become popular.
-We might change any of the above policies without notice. We are updating our procedures on a daily basis.
-We can test for Covid. As of 5/24/2021 we will start Covid vaccination for kids 12 and above as well as adults..
